ROSA FAENSKAP combines the dark atmosphere of black metal with the unhinged energy of hardcore punk. With only three members, the band has honed a massive sound. They swap the corpse paint and sweaty odour of black metal with eyeliner and pride flags. They combine hard-hitting, lightning fast drums with heavy, melodic bass lines, bathing in a dreamy wall of sound from the guitar. They mix the ugliest and the prettiest music has to offer, in a cauldron tasting both sweet and horrifying.

The band directs the fury of black metal against homophobes, capitalism, patriarchy and fascists. Their radical rejection of black metal norms has forged a devoted fanbase that transcends the boundaries of metal. The band released their debut album “Jeg blir til deg” in late 2023 to widespread media attention, getting excellent reviews from defining international magazines such as Metal Hammer and New Noise as well as major Norwegian newspapers such as VG and Klassekampen.
